Description

This kit is for customers who already have a transmission. The TCM-2650 Gateway will allow you to adapt the GM 6L80E and 6L90E transmission to Gen 1 -2 small blocks, big block GM 6 Cylinder or just about any engine that you are removing a T350, t400 700r4 4l60e and 4L80E . The kits comes with a converter that will bolt the transmission to the Gen 1 and 2 using your exiting flexplate in most cases (requires 11.5″ Bolt circle).  This kit includes a modified converter that will bolt directly to the existing engine and flexplate. The TCM2650 requires a throttle position signal and and engine RPM in order to make this funcion. You can add a remote TPS kit if needed. If you have Fuel Injection or an existing TPS, you can use that one. The transmissions internal computer must reprogrammed with a base tune that will get the vehicle drive-able. Any adjustments to shift feel and shift patterns require reprogramming the TCM that is inside the transmissions. This can be accomplished by using HPtuners or EFIlive, just to name a couple. There is an OBDII Connector that lets you connect to thetransmissions internal TCM. The TCM2650 is a gateway module, not a standalone transmission controller. The kit include the following hardware:
